1979 Voyageur bus timetables: Montreal to Mont Laurier, Montreal to Ottawa via Lachute

As a child, I probably had a ride on one of these routes to Lac Saguay circa 1960. Any other time public transportation was taken, trips to Lachute and Lac Saguay were made by train.

Voyageur operated under various corporate names over the years. Beginning as Colonial Coach Lines in 1928, it was purchased by Provincial Transport in 1930. Provincial also acquired many other bus operators in eastern Ontario and Quebec. These lines were all consolidated under the Voyageur brand name in 1969. Canada Steamship Lines Inc owned the company in 1981. In 1998, CSL sold Voyageur to Greyhound Canada.
